Tax-free weekend has started, and families have the opportunity to save even more money by shopping at the Horizon House thrift store in Paris.

“This is a great chance for families to be able to get school clothes without breaking the bank,” said Executive Director Shelly Braziel. “All kids’ clothes and shoes are half-off this Friday, in addition to being tax-free weekend, so that could be big savings for families.”

Not only will families have a chance to save big, but each purchase goes toward a good cause. All the proceeds from the store benefit the transitional shelter, which works to help house men, women, and families with children in need.

The store carries clothes, shoes, accessories, baby items, bedding, household items, and more. You can find it at 400 4th Street S.W. in Paris. For more information, email [email protected].
